| Oct 10th Oct 13th |  Annual Mifflin Weekend | VSC has made an annual trip to Mifflin every October for the last 5 or 6 years and we'll be joined this year by the Adirondack Soaring Club. So, let's make 2008 the best turn-out ever. This is the perfect place to learn ridge soaring with good landing options (hopefully the wind will blow). | Nov 28th - Nov 30th |  Annual Snowbird Contest | The annual spot-landing contest at Harris Hill. VSC took top honours last year. Let's do it again. Everyone gets to fly - a 2 seater will be available for pre-solo students.. So no excuse not to show up. Contest Banquet will be held in the National Soaring Museum on Satruday night.
