VSC Memorial Weekend - VT Encampment New England Soaring will be hosting out annual Memorial Weekend Encampment

This is a fun trip open to anyone with a private ship or who is checked out in the club 1-34. Lot's to do for non-flyers too, so bring the family - Hiking, Biking, Brewer Tours, Woodstock VT. etc all close by.

Would like to see a record participation this year. Flying is Suitable for 1-26's and up. NESA instructors will be available to provide field checks for those who have not flown there before. My picks for where to stay would be:
1) Camp on the field;
2) Great little VT Inn at reasonable cost in Chester (15-20 mins): http://www.fullertoninn.com/ (skip the restaurant, stick to the bar food or better yet walk 5 mins down the road to McLauhmanns Scottish pub - which is excellent.
Other options:
3) Fantastic but expensive and 2 mins from airport: www.weathersfieldinn.com
4) Your typical Holiday Inn Express (15 mins): http://www.vermonthi.com/

Talk to Alasdair, Jason Kainu or Chuck Waldo for more information. Note - You will need an Orange Rotating lamp for you car.
